The Minister of Presidency of the Government of the Region of Murcia, María Dolores Pagán, has signed with the Mayor of Sewell, Joaquín Buendía, at the Center for Citizen Participation in our town, the collaboration agreement between the Autonomous Region Murcia and the City Sewer, where the commitment to promote citizen participation, within the framework and promoting REGIONAL NETWORK oF MUNICIPALITIES fOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION set.

Maria Dolores Pagán highlighted the progress on Open Government is taking the City Sewer, which already has a regulation Citizen Participation approved by the council last May, with input from residents of the municipality, and created a Office of Citizen Participation and Transparency.

The Mayor of Sewell, Joaquín Buendía, praised "the participatory process that started in January, the first to be carried out in our area, with the aim of establishing the regulatory framework for future participatory processes.
