In the morning the Mayor of Sewell, Joaquín Buendía, next to the Manager of IMAS (Instituto Murciano Social Action), Miguel Angel Miralles Director and the President of AFAD (Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's and Dementias Raceway), Julia Fernandez, have opened at the headquarters of AFADE Sewer, in the Carmen street of our town, the training days that are developed today in collaboration with the University of Murcia, on 19, 20 and 21 April, and are entitled " Alzheimer's disease: Risk Factors and Prevention of Pathology ".
The conference is organized by AFAD Sewer, ADYV (Attention to Diversity and Volunteering) and the University of Murcia, through the Vice President for Student, Quality and Equality.

Here they are addressing issues related to the factors and circumstances that may predispose us to develop dementia, and tremendously important questions about what to do to prevent or cope in the best way possible, a process of dementia, subjects all very timeliness and relevance.
They have large and very professional meanings to give talks scheduled and the same are addressed to students, volunteers and family members of Alzheimer patients.
The first of the talks would begin marking the amount level of the speakers, as it was given by Dr. Carmen Antunez, Director of the Dementia Unit at the University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca and Director of the Brain Bank of the Region of Murcia, with "the importance of scientific research in Alzheimer's disease. the Brain Bank of the Region of Murcia".
In the afternoon, the talks continued with Dr. Antonio Luis Marin Urena, Medical Director Viamed San Jose, Sewer, with the talk "Risk Factors in Alzheimer's disease: genetic, biological, acquired, etc.".
The Psy.D., of the Catholic University San Antonio, Melani Gomez Diaz, with the talk "Factors Psychosocial and Environmental Risk in AD", who also took charge of a workshop and Practical "How we predisposes our psychosocial and environmental factors developing dementia "to close the first day.
Tomorrow Tuesday, April 20, at 16:30 hours, will begin the day the nutritionist at the Hospital San José Viamed Sewer, Isabel Jails Alburquerque, with the talk "Mediterranean Diet and Alzheimer".
At 17:30 hours "Alzheimer's disease: origin of pathology, diagnostic process and drug treatment" by Maria Angeles Contreras Palao, a neurologist at Neurology Department of the Hospital Universitario Morales Meseguer General of Murcia.
After a short break at 19:00 will start the talk "The importance and benefits of early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. The first symptoms" by Dr. Javier Castellote Varona, a geriatrician at the University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca.
The conference will end on Thursday April 21, at 16:00 hours with the talk "Cognitive behavioral therapy in Alzheimer's disease" by Sandra Brown, a neuropsychologist at the Hospital Mesa del Castillo de Murcia.
At 17:00 hours the physiotherapist AFADE Sewer, Mariano Arques Mengual, offered the talk "The physical and functional treatment of Alzheimer's disease."
At 18:20 hours on the scene Ruben Carrion Martin, Social Worker Sewer AFADE with "The therapy center specializing in Alzheimer day stays as a resource for care and treatment."
Both professionals AFADE afternoon and will end this magnificent series of talks with the Workshop and Practical "Visit Center AFADE Day and participation in Psychomotor workshop".
The closure of the Day "Alzheimer's Disease: Risk Factors and Prevention of Pathology" and delivery of certificates of attendance, will be held at 19:00.
