The agreement, which will last for one year from today, which may be extended automatically for equal periods, involves conducting educational activities in schools to encourage the use of new technology and energy sustainability, with three editions a workshop programming and three of a programming workshop and three of a workshop 3D design and printing for students from 8-17 years.
The same will be done by students of Engineering Degree in Telecommunications Systems UCAM and the Department of Education, Citizenship and Modernization of City Sewer, includes collaborative actions for the education of children and youth in disciplines such such as programming, electronics, printing and 3D scanning.
Collaboration for the development of R + D + i of new technologies applied to the needs of the City Sewer through initiatives in Smart City, IoT (Internet of Things) or other, through the realization of Works End Grado (TFG), and joint participation in calls for regional, national and international projects.
And advice for the development of an educational platform digital content and a forum for promoting technology and technical education in the town of Sewell.
and also developing joint interest to both institutions in the field of renewable energy activities, energy efficiency and information technology and communications.
The project will be implemented with a total of 3 editions of each course.
Each course will last four weeks, and are given two hours every Saturday.
The total duration of each course is therefore 8 hours.
If possible, each issue will focus on stretches of compatible age: 8-10 years, 10-14 years and 14-17 years.
The tentative schedule of courses will be in the 1st Edition, 7, 14, 21 and 28 May;
in the 2nd Edition, 4, 11, 18, 25 June and the 3rd Edition, 3, 10, 17, 24 September
Programming courses Scratch & Arduino and 3D Design and Printing will be taught by staff and students of the Degree in Telecommunications Systems of the UCAM.
Since college students are responsible for training, course calendar will coincide with the university academic calendar, and avoid overlaps with the scheduled exam periods officially.
