The director of the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF), Alejandro Zamora, and Sewer Mayor Joaquin Buendia, held a meeting to discuss employment programs and training that will launch the City Council with the aid granted by the SEF, amounting to 665,000 euros.
Sewer Zamora stressed that "is having a positive behavior in job creation," since in the last year have won more than 620 new jobs, representing a growth of 5.7 percent, higher than the regional.
Among the actions of the SEF, a mixed program of employment and training 15 people of the group Youth Guarantee Program will benefit.
For nine months, they receive training on 'Auxiliary operations of administrative services' alternating with work and professional practice.
This course concludes with obtaining a professional certificate.
On the other hand, to encourage activity and promote the ability of insertion of unemployed two local public employment programs that include the hiring of 14 unemployed people will be developed.
The first is the project 'Repair alcorques throughout the municipality', for which eight workers will be hired.
For the second, 'repair and maintenance work in schools', six young unemployed, beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System will be hired.
On training for employment, three training courses aimed primarily at unemployed, programming and development of cultural activities, first aid in water facilities and environmental management were developed.
Other courses for unemployed are: 'Creating and managing micro for young entrepreneurs', intended for training and mentoring of young entrepreneurs;
'Auxiliary operations of masonry and covered factories' and 'Operations Recording and processing of data and documents', for the socio-labor training and integration of unemployed at risk of social exclusion;
and 'Creating and managing micro' for unemployed entrepreneurs 35 and older.
