The Community and the City Sewer work together to promote entrepreneurship in the town, facilitating business investments already started and attract new ones to the municipality.
The collaboration is embodied in two agreements signed today which correspond to two initiatives Development Institute, pioneer in Spain and recognized as good practices at European level, 'Entrepreneur Municipality' Acceleration and Investment Unit (UNAI).
The Minister of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, Juan Hernandez, and the mayor of Sewell, Joaquín Buendía, stressed during the signing of the agreements "the regional government's commitment to local economic momentum."
"We want to continue on the path of recovery and sustainable growth, and that's critical collaboration and understanding between government and in particular, with local authorities, which are the engine of regional economic development and job creation "said Juan Hernandez.
With the addition of Sewell, 24 municipalities and are attached to the network of entrepreneurs municipalities, and 17 those who benefit from the reduction of red tape that allows UNAI.
The 'Entrepreneur Municipality' initiative will involve the commissioning Raceway battery over 40 measures contained in seven lines of action.
This will develop comprehensive policies to promote entrepreneurship, support for SMEs and entrepreneurs, start-ups or development of new generating employment initiatives locally.
These agreements also provide Sewer entrepreneurs access to financing, as the agreement provides for promoting and maintaining subsidies and tax exemptions for municipal competition to help stimulate the implementation and consolidation of new businesses in the village.
As for the UNAI, this is an office that facilitates collaboration between administrations when assessing, processing and managing investments relevant to the region by its ability to generate employment projects.
"Business projects managed by the UNAI have, by law, an urgent priority for the regional administration which is, among other advantages, halving the time of incorporation of a company character. From now on, will be one of Alcantarilla 17 municipalities in the region benefiting from this office, which will surely attract and facilitate new investments in the city, "said the adviser.
At present, the UNAI is working to accelerate the implementation of a total of 15 business projects with an investment of 296 million euros in the region and the creation of 887 jobs.
In addition, there are ten other projects that are helping to resolve preliminary issues as the location, the search for sources of funding or innovation.
In total, these 25 projects working the UNAI would mean an investment of 658 million euros and the ability to create 1,560 jobs in the region.
