One expect 2,000 runners, 700 for testing 6,8K and 1,300 for 14K
In the morning, the Air Base Sewer, the head of the same, Fernando Martin Goy, Colonel officially presented the III Carrera Popular Sewer Air Base, which in a few days, on Sunday 21 February, we in its third edition, a very special event for our town.
At the presentation held this morning in this Base, attended by the Mayor of Sewell, Joaquín Gómez Buendía, together with the Councillor for Sports, Antonio Martinez Griñán, Mayor-headman of Sangonera la Seca, Cati Carrillo, president Athletics Federation of Murcia (FAMU), Juanma Molina, as well as the executive director of the School, Lieutenant Colonel Jose Pablo Aldama, who unveiled the audience all the details of this event.
As was the case last year Adolfo Suarez Square will host the start and finish of this event organized by the Air Base Sewer with the close collaboration of the Department of Sports City Sewer, the hamlet of Sangonera la Seca and Athletics Federation of Murcia, as in previous years, the benefits thereof will be obtained for two solidarity associations, nonprofit.
The beginning of this III Carrera Popular Sewer Air Base will be at 10 am, the maximum time limit will be 12:00 and the trophies are expected to surrender at 12:30 hours.
Undoubtedly, the fondness for popular racing continues to grow year after year.
In the Region of Murcia two events of this type, already consolidated, are organized by units of the armed forces, such as Cross Artillery (the Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment 73, Army) and Route Strengths (by the School of Marine "General Albacete Fuster", Navy).
It is in 2014 when the Air Base Sewer, of the Air Force, I organized the Half Marathon and 10K "Sewer Air Base."

Air Base Sewer organized in May 2014 for the first time a popular race, a half marathon that featured two thousand participants and also commemorating the 75th anniversary of the creation of the Air Force, maintaining this commitment to amateur athletics organizing this race popular, now being held at distances of 14 and 6.8 kilometers, making it the fifth this season and the second scoring for Running Challenge test popular racing league that promotes Athletics Federation of Murcia.
