María Rosario was today the first neighbor of Alcantarilla to access the new facilities of the Citizen Service Office of the City Council, to carry out her procedures, in this case, the request for the digital certificate. The new office, more spacious, accessible and adapted with an access point to the electronic headquarters, concentrates the services of the Single Window, Central Registry, Population Register and procedures of the Municipal Cemetery. Residents can access from today to carry out all these procedures in person, always by appointment that can be booked on the website www.alcantarilla.es/cita-previa or by phone 968 89 52 22. The Citizen Service Office is located on Calle Mayor, on the corner of Calle Ignacio López Lacal, 50 meters from the Town Hall and has eight public service stations. The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, stressed that "with this new service we improve the attention to residents in their procedures with the City Council that, in the coming months we will continue to expand with other new dependencies in the Campoamor neighborhood." In 2020, the Alcantarilla City Council processed a total of 24,774 procedures, of which 19,140 were handled in person, through the Central Registry and the Single Window, and 5,634 electronically, through the electronic headquarters. Among the procedures that citizens can access through the electronic headquarters are the registry, the responsible declarations and previous communications of urban planning, activity licenses, requests for attestations, occupation of public roads, bonuses for large families and aid provided by social services and all collection procedures.
