Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have already been 1,679 penalties for infractions headed by not wearing a mask, breaching the curfew, not respecting the perimeter fence of the municipality, smoking without respecting the safety distance and consuming alcohol in the public street, among other.

Specifically, since March 14, the Police have filed 577 penalties for not wearing or misusing the mask, 198 for not respecting the restriction of night hours from 11 p.m.

to 6 a.m., 106 for breaching the perimeter closure of the municipality, 75 for smoking in the public street without respecting the safety distance, 58 for alcohol consumption in the public street, 40 for holding parties or meetings with more than six people and 27 for exceeding the 50 percent capacity limit in vehicles when the occupants are not living together.

The Councilor for Citizen Security, V ctor Martínez del Baño, stressed that "the work of the Local Police, in addition to monitoring and sanctioning non-compliance, is to inform neighbors, businesses, companies and everything the one that requires it, of the changes in the regulations ".

Decline in December The Local Police has registered a decrease in the number of infractions registered in December, compared to the months of November, in which 268 reports of complaint were drawn up, October, with 180 sanctions, and September with 230.
