The popular San Silvestre Bruja de Alcantarilla race, organized by the City Council and the Rajaos Runners Club, will celebrate its fourth edition this year in a virtual and interactive way from December 28 to 31, with a circular route of five kilometers in which people of all ages can participate and complete it by running or walking.

The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaqu n Buend a, today presented the race together with the sports director of the Rajaos Runners Club, Juan Francisco Rodr guez, and the president of the Merchants Association, Juan Castillo, and highlighted that "as a novelty, this year we have the collaboration of the Merchants Association and the establishments, which have donated all the prizes that are going to be raffled and have placed the QR codes of the itinerary in the shop windows" .

The start and finish line will be located at the information point in Plaza Adolfo Su rez, where participants will have to capture the QR code that will be posted there with their mobile phone.

When downloading the registration, participants will receive a list with all collaborating businesses, in whose windows are the QR codes that they must capture to register their participation.

It is necessary to capture at least one QR code in each kilometer of the route to participate in the prize draw, on one or more of the days that San Silvestre lasts.

When the participants capture the code, the date and time of their passage through that point of the route will be automatically recorded and a video will be downloaded explaining the building or monument of the city that is in the nearby.

Prizes for participants The prizes consist of products and services donated by the more than 30 businesses of the Merchants Association that collaborate with this initiative and that are located along the itinerary of the race.

Among the products to be raffled are photo cameras, backpacks and bags, sunglasses, watches, sports shoes, tableware and household items, food products, clothing and gift vouchers with cosmetic services , restoration and classes in academies.
