The registration period to be part of the Civil Protection volunteer body of Alcantarilla is open, with six new places, whose entrance tests will be held on December 12 and 13. Interested parties can send their requests to the email proteccioncivil@ayto-alcantarilla.es, indicating their name, ID and motivation to be part of the Civil Protection team. The Councilor for Citizen Security pointed out that "the initiative, the desire, the altruism of the volunteers is an asset of incalculable value, which with their desire to help make Alcantarilla a better and safer city.

" Entrance tests consist of training in first aid legislation and practice, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, obstruction of the airways by foreign bodies, and care for bleeding and fractures. Other tests that the candidates have passed refer to communications and transmissions, such as the handling of portable and fixed equipment, both the Tetra system and the analog system, as well as the correct use of fire extinguishers, backpacks, epis and extinguishers.
