| The company specialized in infant feeding has won the "Baby universe" category | With these awards, Carrefour recognizes the most innovative companies in the country, rewarding those launches that respond more effectively to new consumer needs. The Hero Baby jars with pieces, launched on the market in 2019, have been awarded at the 2020 Innovation Awards organized by Carrefour, in the "Baby Universe" category.
These awards, organized by Carrefour for the sixth consecutive year to reward the most innovative companies in the country, are a benchmark in the distribution sector and aim to identify those launches that respond more effectively to new consumer needs. The awards ceremony took place in a ceremony held at the Royal Tapestry Factory in Madrid, respecting all the safety and hygiene measures required by the protocols against Covid-19.
The event was attended by the Secretary of State for Commerce Xiana Méndez; and Alexandre de Palmas, Executive Director of Carrefour Spain.
On behalf of Hero Baby, Cristóbal Ortega, Commercial Director of Hero Spain, attended.
In parallel, more than 400 people and companies in the sector have attended this awards ceremony virtually. Thus, the Hero Baby jars with small pieces rose to the winners in the "Baby Universe" category thanks to the votes of thousands of Carrefour customers.
And it is that, to choose the winners of these awards, Carrefour has the participation of its customers, who choose the finalists of 16 categories of products.
