| "They are continuous and inconsistent budgets," says Ortega | The 2021 budgets arrive unbalanced and loaded with unnecessary items that completely forget about the needs of the families of the Region of Murcia, as well as those affected by COVID-19, SMEs, hoteliers, merchants and restaurateurs, leaving them in a last and disowned plane. For this reason, VOX has submitted an amendment to all of these budgets that do not represent the interests of the municipality of Alcantarilla.
"VOX is the only party that demands responsibility for the management of the pandemic and the last containment dam against the caciquile policies of the Popular Party," the spokesperson for GM VOX Alcantarilla, Aurora Ortega Navarro, has reproached the local Government Team.VOX Alcantarilla criticizes that the documentation of these budgets, in addition, arrived without time, without the will to negotiate, with practically zero transparency and also they are far from the amendments that VOX would have proposed if it were in the Government.
Along these lines, the spokesperson recalls: “We look at families, our elders, our young people, the self-employed and SMEs, our hotels and small businesses, in short: those most affected by the pandemic that they are engines of our economy and that with this type of policy they will be doomed to economic and personal ruin ”.The GM VOX Alcantarilla insists that these budgets do not reflect the needs of Spaniards since the country is immersed in an unprecedented drop in GDP that will exceed the estimates made in the first period of the pandemic."The 40 ridiculous measures that were approved in May 2020 for economic reactivation with the support of PSOE and Citizens mostly translate into postponements or installments in the payment of taxes, a timid tax bonus, awareness of not throwing EPIS into the street, a simple municipal Wi-Fi network or what is more shameful, the return of fees for undue income as a result of services not provided during the pandemic, something clearly mandatory ”, said Aurora Ortega, who has concluded: "Measures, therefore, that are not only useless to cover the most immediate needs but also demonstrate the null and inefficient management of the municipal government in the face of the crisis."
