| On Friday, November 20, all political groups will read the manifesto in favor of children's rights, as Ciudad Amiga de Childhood since 2018 | Next Friday, November 20, Alcantarilla celebrates Universal Children's Day with the I Festival of Urban Art of Alcantarilla, in which ten graffiti artists will decorate the facades of some buildings in Plaza Cayitas, Calle Mayor and the Jardín de Campoamor, which will form the first urban art route in the municipality.The artists start painting their works today and will finish on Sunday, November 22, each with a creation inspired by the ten articles that make up the Universal Declaration of Children's Rights.The graffiti artists participating in this first show, some of them internationally recognized, are Dan Ferrer, Kraser, Callizo, Sfhir, Lanenaguapa, Mr.
Chapu, Goyo203, Rayajos, Félix M.
de la Paz and Lucía Viudez.In addition, this Friday, at 12 noon, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council, all political groups will jointly read the institutional manifesto in favor of children's rights, as part of the network of child-friendly cities, according to Unicef.After reading the manifesto, a video produced by the Eusebio Martínez Special Education Center on the rights of children as seen through the eyes of the students will be broadcast on the City Council's YouTube channel.Universal Children's Day is celebrated on Friday, November 20 to raise awareness about the situation of the most disadvantaged children, raise awareness of children's rights and make people aware of the importance of working day by day for their well-being and development.Since 2018, Alcantarilla has been part of the Child Friendly Cities network, promoted by Unicef, thanks to the municipality's commitment to the participation of the youngest in the public activities it organizes and the preparation of the 1st Childhood and Adolescence Plan.
