Parents who need to learn or update their knowledge about the use of new technologies have at their disposal a free workshop on the most common digital tools that their children use in distance classes in Early Childhood, Primary and ESO.It will take place throughout the month of October at the Infanta Elena Cultural Center and consists of two hours of face-to-face training, access to a help platform and support by email and by phone to answer questions.
The registration period will be from September 20 to 30 and to participate you must reserve a place by calling 661 201 313, since there are limited places.The objective of this initiative of the Alcantarilla City Council, in collaboration with the Federation of Associations of Mothers and Parents of the Municipality of Alcantarilla (Fampama), is to facilitate the work of parents who help their children with distance classes, regardless of the previous knowledge they have about the use of digital tools.The face-to-face classes will be held on Monday, October 5 from 10:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 7 from 10:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 13 from 7:00 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m.
and Wednesday, October 14 from 10:00 a.m.Among the subjects that will be taught are the use of services in the 'cloud', management of profiles in social networks, use of blogs, Google Docs and Google Classroom, as well as videoconferencing applications (Hangout, Zoom, Skype).
In addition, participants will have a help portal where they can answer questions and telephone support for three months.
