| In the next few days six more health professionals, two nurses and an assistant will be added in each of the offices | The two health centers in Alcantarilla have increased their staff with the incorporation of four new health professionals, two doctors and an MIR in Alcantarilla-Sangonera and another physician in Alcantarilla-Casco.In addition, in the coming days, six new personnel, two nurses and a health assistant will be added to each of the health centers, as agreed today by the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, and the manager of the Murcian Health Service, Asensio López .Buendía highlighted that "together with these new staff, we have requested the SMS to also reinforce user care, with more additions of administrative personnel to attend to patients."From the City Council "we believe that coordination is essential, on the one hand, with the Ministry of Health, and on the other, with the two health centers through their managers, with whom we hold biweekly briefings to test the epidemiological situation" stressed the mayor."For this reason, we make the social services of the municipality available to the health authorities to provide coverage to the neediest families who must maintain quarantine, so that they do so in safety conditions," he added.Likewise, the City Council will contribute to the awareness of the population about the need to maintain health protocols, with actions such as messages on institutional social networks and mobile public address.The Alcantarilla-Sangonera and Alcantarilla-Casco health centers are currently at the red level, which implies that consultations with the doctor are by email, videoconference or telephone and access to the center should be avoided if not strictly necessary or it is an emergency situation.In addition, access control is maintained, health triage upon entry and it is essential to request an appointment through the portal www.murciasalud.es or by calling 900 12 12 12, in case of suffering symptoms compatible with Covid-19.Between the two health centers of Alcantarilla there are 39,374 health cards registered, of which 22,193 belong to Alcantarilla-Sangonera and 17,181 to Alcantarilla-Casco, which are attended by about 60 professionals.
