| From Wednesday 16 to Tuesday 22 September, actions to raise awareness about sustainable mobility are being developed throughout Europe | Alcantarilla joins the European Mobility Week, which is held in the main cities of Europe between September 16 and 22, and this year has drawing, photography and design competitions for children and adults under the slogan 'For emission-free mobility '.In addition, next Sunday will be held 'The city, without a car!', With the closure of the Calle Mayor to traffic to make it pedestrian or to cycle for a day, between 10.00 and 20.00.Among the planned activities there is a children's drawing contest 'My city without cars', with two categories, one for 3 to 6 years and another for 7 to 10 years.
Children who want to participate must send a drawing with motifs of bicycles, skates or people walking to the email industryymedioambiente@ayto-alcantarilla.es.For adults there is the 'Sustainable Sewer' photography contest, in which participants must upload to their Facebook profile a photograph in which neighbors appear in daily activities, such as going shopping, to work or for a walk, in the media of sustainable transport, be it bicycles, non-motorized scooters, skates, public transport or walking.
In the photos you have to mark the hashtag #ConcursoAlcantarillaSostenible and tag the Local Development Agency of Alcantarilla.And for professionals or amateurs of graphic design, a contest from which the new logo of the future Sewer Bicycle Office will come out.
To participate, it is necessary to send an original design that can be used as a logo to the email industriaymedioambiente@ayto-alcantarilla.es.The prizes of all the competitions are related to sustainable mobility, among which are helmets, baskets, locks, water cans and led lights for bicycles.
