| The stands of the Ángel Sornichero football field premieres new seats | The Sports Department of the Alcantarilla City Council has carried out improvement works in three municipal facilities located in the Ángel Sornichero sports center. On the soccer field, the stands have been rehabilitated, masonry and painting have been carried out, and all seats have been renovated to make the public more comfortable.
This soccer field has a capacity of 601 spectators. The indoor soccer field has been painted on the outdoor sports court and new goals have been installed.
In addition, the rear fence has been renewed to avoid the loss of balls when playing. In the Fausto Vicent pavilion, an anti-bird net has been placed on the structure of the access terrace to the stands to prevent deterioration.
New protectors have been placed on the basketball boards of the central baskets. The total investment of these works, which have already been completed, is 18,000 euros.
