| The Governing Board approved the Special Plan that allows the development of 146,380 square meters, new streets and roundabouts | The Alcantarilla City Council rearranges the last parcels of the San Andrés Business Park, which represent 146,380 square meters, within the park's total 417,000 square meters. The Governing Board approved the initial approval of the Special Urban Planning Plan of the Partial Plan for the Tertiary Industrial and Services Sector of the San Andrés Business Park, presented by the Urban Planning Compensation Entity of the San Andrés Business Park Action Unit.
The document will be in public information for a month and then it will be taken to plenary session for final approval. The rearrangement of the last 146,380 square meters of the park that were undeveloped will allow the creation of plots, roads, roundabouts and installation of services, so that companies can locate themselves in this space.
In addition, the Plan has been adapted to the technical determinations of the layout of the future Northwest Arch. This action completes the development of the Business Park, which has 417,000 square meters, of which 235,400 square meters are for economic and business activities divided into 42 plots, there will be 2,300 parking spaces, the roads will occupy 84,000 square meters, 53,300 meters will be used for green areas, and 34,380 square meters will be for sports, social and cultural equipment. This business space is very well connected, located between the Northwest and Mediterranean motorways. Street names The plenary session last June approved the name of six streets in the San Andrés business park with the names of Avenida de la Conserva, Calle Industria de la Metallurgia, Calle de La Lonja and Calle Industria de la Madera.
These names have been adopted to recognize the industrial sectors with a tradition in Alcantarilla.
