The Social Dining Room of the Beata Piedad de la Cruz Association cares for around thirty people daily and provides basic foods such as oil, pasta, rice, meat, vegetables, fruit, etc ...
every three weeks to 30 different families in the municipality of Sewer.
The mayor of the town, Joaquín Buendía, visited the dining room to thank him for his work during the Covid-19 pandemic, "moments in which he has expanded his ability to serve people in need," he said. The association also has a wardrobe that provides clothing and footwear to people who need it at a symbolic price of 50 cents or one euro, to use it to buy food. The City Council collaborates with the dining room, as well as companies in the municipality that donate products.
