| The City Council will install 23 tourist and information panels with the history and old photographs of emblematic buildings | The City Council of Alcantarilla will launch the tourist and historical initiative "Yesterday and Today" that will allow knowing the past of emblematic buildings and places in the city as well as seeing old photographs. The Mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, explained that "23 panels will be installed that will contain the history of the place, monument or building, and photographs so that they can contemplate what that space was like in ancient times from the same perspective, in order to put value our historical past.
" In addition, the information panels will include a map that indicates a historical route that connects the 23 most outstanding monuments. The tourist panels are practically finished and will be installed in a couple of weeks. The points that will feature these panels are the Church of San Pedro, Casa de Cayitas, City Hall, various locations on Calle Mayor, Garden of the Constitution, Garden of Campoamor, Plaza de Abastos and Convento de San Francisco, among many others.
