The Alcantarilla City Council will not hold the Plenary session in March, as announced by the Mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, after the agreement reached by the four political groups with representation in the Consistory -PP, PSOE, C's and Vox-, which have unanimously decided to suspend the informative commissions and the plenary session in March.
All this to continue reinforcing the protection measures of the health system and the population as a whole.
The mayor will sign this morning the Decree where this measure is contemplated.
The City Council will maintain the minimum services to the citizen.

Cleaning reinforcement
From the Department of City Development and Historical Heritage, street cleaning and urban waste collection work continues, and disinfection measures are being adopted with hydrolyzing equipment in areas that due to their characteristics are of special risk of contamination by the virus.
The railings, bus stop canopies, containers and the exterior of the Virgen de la Salud residence are going to be disinfected with hydro-cleaning.
At points where it is not possible to enter with water cleaning, special disinfection will be carried out with backpacks.
In order to facilitate the work of the cleaning operators, the neighbors are asked to collaborate by avoiding the deposit of belongings in the container areas and keeping the public road clean.
Breakdown of deadlines for administrative procedures
The deadlines for ongoing administrative procedures are interrupted until March 31, after the publication of Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, declaring the state of alarm.
Any action or procedure that the citizens have pending to present is postponed until the alarm status or its extensions are no longer valid, therefore, the period for submitting applications for the opposition of an administrative assistant position for the City Council is interrupted. Sewer.
