175 cyclists of 25 teams have filled the streets of Alcantarilla with sport today.
The XXIX edition of the Guerrita Memorial Trophy Juan Romero and Diego Sánchez-, has brought together the best national teams and the best Spanish runners of Elite and U23 categories.
23 Spanish teams participated in the trophy, with four squads from the Region of Murcia, and two foreign teams, one Colombian and one Polish.
In addition, the Alcantarilla cyclists David Espejo, who plays for the Murcia team Valverde Team-Terra Fecundis, and Miguel Ángel Ballesteros, who this season rolls with the Navarre team of the Caja Rural Seguros RGA, have also competed in the trophy.
The race has a total length of 168 kilometers, of which 54.8 kilometers have been developed by streets and avenues of Alcantarilla, where the exit and goal of the race has also been.
