175 cyclists of 25 teams will meet on Sunday in the XXIX edition of the Juan Romero and Diego Sánchez- Guerrita Memorial Trophy, which brings together the best national teams and the best Spanish runners of Elite and U23 categories.
23 Spanish teams participate in the trophy, with four squads from the Region of Murcia, and two foreign teams, one Colombian and one Polish.
In addition, two Alcantarilla cyclists will participate in the race, David Espejo, who plays for the Murcia team Valverde Team-Terra Fecundis, and Miguel Ángel Ballesteros, who this season rolls with the Navarre team of the Caja Rural Seguros RGA.
The race will leave at 9:15 am from the main street of Alcantarilla, at the height of the Plaza Constitución.
As a novelty, this year, the route changes, this time the riders will take two laps around the urban circuit, and they will extend the route through Sangonera la Seca to Barqueros road and back again to Alcantarilla, while in previous years the urban circuit will be He walked six times.

Travel
The route is 168 kilometers, the first 54.8 kilometers will be made on the semi-urban circuit, in which there will be two laps, from the main street the platoon will go to the roundabout of the Army of the Air towards Sangonera la Seca, road RM-C19, Barqueros RM-C1 road and again to Alcantarilla, Avenida Príncipe and Hero España to enter Calle Mayor.
After the two laps to the urban circuit, cyclists will start the route to Sangonera la Verde through the business park where the E'Lecler supermarket is located and next to the Air Base mattress, through El Cañarico to Librilla, Cola del Caballo (3rd PM) , Fuente Librilla, Gebas, Alto de la Perdiz (1st PM), Sierra Espuña, Alto de Gebas (3rd PM), Fuente Librilla, Librilla along the Mazarrón road, and from El Cañarico to Sangonera la Verde to enter Alcantarilla by avenue Prince, Hero and Main Street to finish.

Traffic cuts
On Sunday, Calle Mayor will be closed to traffic, starting at 7:30 a.m.
At 1:30 p.m., the first phase of the main street will open, from Hero to entrevías.
From 14:30 hours the street will be completely open to traffic.
It will be forbidden to park on Lorca Station Street.
The race will pass twice through Prince Avenue, so there will be alternative traffic cuts, predictably around 9:50 and 10:30.
