The Community began work in January, with a budget close to 870,000 euros, which includes about four kilometers of sanitation pipes
The Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Environment is carrying out sanitation and drinking water supply in the El Campico de Alcantarilla neighborhood that will provide these services to the residents of the area before summer.
The counselor Antonio Luengo, along with the mayor of the town, Joaquín Buendía, visited the area today and explained that "the work began in January and has a deadline of six months, after which the residents of this neighborhood will count with drinking water supply, as well as a sewage collector, since until now they lacked such service ".
The budget for this action is 869,996 euros and includes the construction of a general collector for wastewater collection, with corrugated PVC pipe and a length of 1,242 meters.
The corresponding branches that will collect the water coming from the houses will also be executed, with a length of 2,560 meters.
In total, 3.8 kilometers of sanitation pipes will be executed.
Once the works are finished, the streets will be paved to complete the actions carried out.
Antonio Luengo said that "from the regional government we work so that all populations have water supply and supply", and recalled that "99.3 percent of the urban population of the Region of Murcia already has adequate treatment of purification ".
