Nearly 2,000 students from Alcantarilla educational centers, accompanied by teachers and mothers and fathers, will participate tomorrow in the Children's Carnival parade, which will begin at 11 am.
The event is organized by the Department of Education of the City Council of Alcantarilla, the Federation of Associations of Mothers and Fathers (Fampama) and Campoamor schools, Our Lady of the Assumption, Vistabella, Las Tejeras, Our Lady of Health, Samaniego, Jacinto Benavente, Jara Carrillo, San José Obrero, Children's Municipal School and the Eusebio Martínez Special Education Center.
The carnival groups will leave at 10:30 am from each educational center, and there will be three meeting points, in the Plaza de San Pedro, in the Termino street and in the Vistabella Garden, from these points they will start at 11 the parade until Adolfo Suarez Square, where, after 12 hours, the mayor of Alcantarilla, the Councilor for Education and representatives of the Fampama will deliver the gifts, which consists of reading material for school libraries, to schools in gratitude for your participation.
Local Police of Sewer and Civil Protection have a special device to ensure the safety of the participants.
The main street will be closed to traffic from 9 am to 1 pm approximately.
