Socialist Youth of Alcantarilla and the PSOE of Alcantarilla convene the VI Short Story Contest for International Women's Day.
For six years, the Socialist Association of the municipality has organized a story contest commemorating the 8M, whose theme of the story must be related to women.
Participants, for days, can now send their stories by email to certamenrelato8m@gmail.com or by mail to the Socialist Association of the municipality.
The stories may be sent until March 1 at 24:00, the jury ruling on Tuesday, March 3.
As a fundamental requirement to present the stories is to be at least 16 years old;
In addition, a maximum of three stories may be submitted per person.
After the jury's decision, made up of four people related to the world of letters, the three winning stories will be made public.
The authors of the winning stories will receive as a prize different works of art from relevant artists of the Region of Murcia, which will be delivered on March 6 at the events organized by this Group on the occasion of 8M.
Therefore, and in the words of the Secretary General of the Socialist Youth of Alcantarilla, Francisco Javier Cascales, “from Socialist Youth we would like to encourage all citizens, especially the youth of Alcantarilla and the Region of Murcia, to participate by sending their stories using non-sexist language and promoting equality values ”
The participation bases are published on the Facebook pages of JSA and the PSOE Alcantarilla.
