The City Council in your hand ”works with two programs that have allowed the implementation of electronic administration and completely eliminate paper.
The winning system is VIDSigner, which began in April 2018, for the handwritten electronic signature of public contracts, agreements, contracts for new public employees and the inauguration of officials.
In addition, the biometric signature has already been launched in the Registry Office and allows the submission of any type of application.
VIDSigner is integrated into the Gestiona program, which was launched in March 2017, and allows public employees to access all electronic documentation, process a document or sign it electronically from any computer with the internet or through the smartphone or tablet, and that guarantees that the procedures are fully electronic, from the request until the time of notification.
The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaqun Buenda, stressed that "it is another step for the total implementation of electronic administration, which has already allowed the elimination of paper and making administration accessible to groups with greater difficulties."
The handwritten electronic signature is completely secure because it incorporates biometric data and combines the confidence of the traditional electronic signature and the new possibilities of touch devices.
In addition, at the same time the contract is signed it arrives at the signatories' email, without having to take paper copies.
Currently, the City Council is working on bringing the signature home for people who have mobility difficulties (elderly, dependent or disabled).
In addition to saving paper, this system has reduced the workload of public employees.
