Among the activities that the parish of San Roque de Alcantarilla is carrying out this year on the occasion of its 50th anniversary, next Saturday, December 15, there will be a solidarity concert whose collection will go to a United Hands project for the supply of drinking water in three villages of Cameroon.
The activity will begin, at 20:00 hours, in the Plaza de San Roque de Alcantarilla, with the performance of the groups The M & M's Band and La Banda del Perdigón, which will perform music from the 80's and 90's.
Admission will be free and the charitable contribution can be made through the “solidarity tapas”, organized by volunteers from the parish, or through the craft market, made by the children of catechesis.
In addition, during the concert there will also be two charity raffles of typical food products from the Region of Murcia that have been donated by the residents of Alcantarilla.
José Miguel Nadal, pastor of San Roque, invites you to participate in this event "because it will be an endearing evening and, in addition, it is a very nice occasion to live a solidarity Christmas helping those who need it most".
Those who cannot attend the concert, but want to collaborate with this solidarity initiative, may also deliver their donation in the parish, specifying that it is intended for the United Hands project in Cameroon.
