Alcantarilla celebrates Christmas with more than fifty activities designed especially for children and young people.
The Councilor for Education, Culture and Youth, Marina Lorenzo, presented this morning the program and highlighted as a novelty "the installation in the Plaza de la Constitución of the Christmas Garden, a space where we will put a large Christmas tree and conduct many workshops and activities so that children, throughout these holidays, can decorate the tree. "
The workshops will be crafts, face painting, drawing contest with various prizes, as well as technological sessions of 3D printing and robotics.
The Christmas Garden will open on Monday, December 23.
The kick-off for Christmas parties will take place next Thursday, December 5, at 7:00 p.m., with the Christmas lights on at Adolfo Suarez Square.
In addition, the Rondalla of the Choir and Dance Group of the Huerta Museum will sing carols, and Salva Ortega will perform.
This year, as a novelty, there will also be a children's party with inflatables and games.
On Friday, December 13, at 8:30 p.m., at the Infanta Elena Cultural Center, Nuria Guijarro Carillo will read the Christmas proclamation.
