The Plenary of the City Council of Alcantarilla, presided over by the mayor Joaquín Buendía, unanimously approved this morning initially the Ordinance regulating the occupation of municipal public domain, which develops the requirements and conditions to occupy parks, squares and streets for the celebration of festive activities of popular character and traditional festivals, cultural, recreational and artistic activities, as well as informative, advertising, solidarity and sporting events.
In addition, this ordinance also regulates the installation of kiosks subject to concession and any other occupation of the public domain for which it is necessary to have municipal authorization.
The regulations, which have nine titles divided into 226 articles, as well as transitory and final provisions, include the documentation that must be provided, the application deadlines and the conditions to be met in order to have municipal authorization.
Among other issues, it regulates the placement of billboard merchants on sidewalks.
The ordinance has been approved initially and from now on it will be exposed to the public for a month, and once resolved the allegations will be submitted to the Plenary for final approval.

The Plenary supported, unanimously, a proposal to study the installation of high chairs, which comply with the regulations, in the changing rooms of the municipal swimming pool in order to facilitate fathers and mothers the practice of swimming with babies.
