The City Council of Alcantarilla has recovered four historical documents, three of them from 1939 and one from 1942. The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, received this morning the documents recovered in the operation "Clarisas", developed by the Historical Heritage Area of ​​the Organic Unit of Judicial Police of the 5th Zone / Command of the Civil Guard of Murcia, in collaboration with technicians from the General Archive of the Region of Murcia and the University of Murcia.
The Civil Guard delivered the recovered documents to the mayor and other representatives of the Autonomous Communities and municipal councils.
The three documents recovered from the municipality of Alcantarilla in 1939 are dated May 12 and are an Office of the Main Administrator of Posts in Murcia addressed to the mayor of Alcantarilla requesting the report on the political-social background and the behavior observed during the " Glorious National Movement "by the official Eduardo Bueno Blanca, rural mailman of Alcantarilla;
an Office of the Main Administrator of Posts in Murcia, addressed to the mayor of Alcantarilla, requesting the report on the political-social background and behavior observed during the "Glorious National Movement" by the official Antonio Abenza Valverde, pedestrian from Alcantarilla to La Ñora;
and an Office of the Main Post Administrator in Murcia addressed to the mayor of Alcantarilla requesting the report on the political-social background and behavior observed during the "Glorious National Movement" by the official Ildefonso Pulido Chico, pedestrian mailman of Alcantarilla.
The document dated August 11, 1942 corresponds to a printed letterhead from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
