The "small chefs" project of the IES Salzillo de Alcantarilla has obtained the eTwinning European Quality Seal.
This initiative has been developed from February to May of this year, with students from three ESO first courses, in the subjects of Spanish language and mathematics.
This project has been joined by an Italian center whose students study Spanish for the first time.
The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, and the Minister of Education and Culture, Esperanza Moreno, attended this morning the educational center to learn about the project, which has consisted of activities that have been aimed at preparing recipes, both Italian and Spanish, in order to develop linguistic, technological and cultural skills of the students involved.
In addition, the work methodology of Project Based Learning, cooperative work and digital environments, and problem solving learning has been worked on.
Currently, in the Region, there are 2,115 teachers registered in eTwinning, which is part of the European Erasmus + program.
