The students of the school Our Lady of the Assumption of Alcantarilla began today their program in Radio Sintonía that will be broadcast monthly.
The young people are students of the sixth grade of Primary School and participate in an educational project that improves students' reading comprehension and reduces absenteeism, led by the Carmen García Zamora center teacher.
The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, accompanied the students in their first live program.
The broadcast of the program has coincided with the 25th anniversary of Radio Sintonía, which this week offers new programming and activities on the street that ends next Saturday, November 9, with the free concert of Diego Espeche, Marula, David Andreu and Los Harrisong at 20 hours in Adolfo Suarez square.
The students have been working in the radio workshop of the school since last year, this year they have proposed that the program have more reach and live the radio live.
Twenty students and 14 teachers participate in the initiative.
The programs they broadcast have a duration of 20 minutes and feature interviews and news from the school, as well as sections that are related to the subjects they study.
