600 fifth grade students from 11 educational centers in Alcantarilla have participated in the IV exhibition of plastic expression '12 de Octubre, the Fiesta de mi País', organized by the Alcantarilla City Council and the Air Base on the occasion of the celebration of the National holiday.
The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, and the colonel of the Alcantarilla Air Base and director of the Military School of Parachuting 'Méndez Parada', Francisco Javier Fernández, participated today in the event organized at the IES Francisco Salzillo for all the students who have done work for this sample.
Buendía stressed that "the goal is for the youngest to reflect on belonging to Spain, and the different aspects and values ​​of this party."
The students have enjoyed an image projection to learn about the work of the Military School of Parachuting 'Méndez Parada', the Squadron of Parachute Sappers of the Air Force (EZAPAC), the Airborne Paratrooper Patrol Patrol (PAPEA) and the 721 Air Force Squad.
And at the end of the event, diplomas of thanks have been given to the participating centers.
All the students' works will be exhibited next Sunday, October 6, in the act of Tribute to the Flag, in the Adolfo Suárez square.
The participating centers have been: CEIP Campoamor, CEIP Jara Carrillo, CEIP San José Obrero, CEIP Vistabella, Concerted Center of Samaniego Teaching, CEIP Our Lady of Health, CEIP Las Tejeras, Sacred Heart of Jesus School, CEIP Jacinto Benavente and public school of special education Maestro Eusebio Martínez.
