The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, received this morning a group of students of the IES Sanje who have been finalists of the Science in Action contest, convened by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.
These students are finalists in the Science and Technology modality with the 3D arc printing project 'Discovering the arch.

Students will participate in the final phase, which will be held in Alcoy on October 4, 5 and 6.
In addition, the mayor has received another group of students from 3rd ESO of the same institute who have been beneficiaries of scholarships from a national program of the Ministry for the realization of Scientific, Artistic and Literary Routes.
The route will begin in Mérida (Badajoz) and will end in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), from November 3 to 9, and will carry out activities related to art, literature, industry, science and technology, environment, gastronomy and food.
Buendía has highlighted "the quality of the teaching of the IES Sanje and the high degree of involvement of all the staff of the institute that allows the youngest to be motivated, to be submitted to national calls and get these kinds of distinctions that are great experiences that improve their formation and they will remember a lifetime. "
