The Plenary Session of the City Council unanimously approved this morning the Municipal Ordinance regulating the responsible declaration and the license for the exercise of business activities.
The Councilor for Economic Development, José Antonio López Olmedo, explained that "this regulation will expedite the procedures when opening a business, seeks administrative simplification and favor the establishment of companies in the municipality."
The ordinance regulates in a clear and simple way the procedures related to the operation of business activities of municipal competence, the procedures to be carried out, the documentation and the standardized forms that must be provided so that the activity can be exercised from the moment it is presented the documentation in the City Hall.
With this regulation, businessmen can start their activity with an explicit declaration that they meet all the requirements, and have all the documentation that accredits it, for the start of their activity, according to current regulations.
The ordinance will enter into force 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM).

On the other hand, the Plenary of the City Council unanimously approved a joint motion of the three municipal groups, PP, PSOE, Citizens and VOX, through which they express their condolences to the municipal corporation and the entire town of Alcantarilla to family, friends and colleagues Commanders Francisco Marín and Daniel Melero, and Ensign Rosa María Almirón for her tragic death in an act of service.
This agreement will be transferred to the San Javier General Air Academy.
The Plenary also unanimously agreed to write the first ordinance regulating aid to public transport in Alcantarilla, which includes subsidies for minors, social groups, large families, unemployed, people with disabilities and students.
As well as to study the improvement of the frequency of passing of the bus and to bet on the sustainability encouraging between the citizens the use of the public transport.
A motion was also unanimously approved to urge the Ministry of Education and Culture to execute the Multi-Annual Local Plan for the removal of asbestos in the educational centers of the municipality, and that the government team prepare a public registry of educational centers that submit asbestos.
In addition, the Plenary approved, with the votes in favor of PP, Citizens and VOX and the abstention of PSOE, the general account for the year 2018, which has presented a positive evolution in all its terms.
The General Account of the City Council was submitted last May 30 to the Special Commission of accounts, both the account and the report of the commission was exposed to the public, in the BORM and on the notice board of the City Council, for a period of 15 days, without receiving any claim, reparation or observation, and after passing through the Plenary will be sent, before October 1, to the Court of Auditors.
