A roundabout will also be built at the exit of MU-31, in the streets Peru with Venezuela
The West Industrial Estate will have two new roundabouts that will allow rearranging and speeding up traffic in the area.
One of them will be carried out jointly with the City of Murcia, since it is on the border between the two municipalities.
The intersection will be located between Avenida de América and Julián Romea Street.
The Councilors of Organization and Public Procurement, Francisca Terol;
Urban Development, Laura Sandoval;
Economic Development, José Antonio López;
and Development of the City and Historical Heritage, Juan Antonio Mata, met with the Councilor for the Promotion of the City of Murcia, Mario Gómez, to begin work on the project.
In addition, the Alcantarilla City Council is working on the project for the construction of a second roundabout at the exit of MU-31, between Peru and Venezuela streets.
Juan Antonio Mata said that "in the last four years almost 50,000 square meters of asphalt have been carried out on streets of the polygon, the street lighting has been replaced by more efficient LED lighting. And together with the Autonomous Community, the renovation of the sign on the Soldiers' Road, one of the areas with the most traffic. "
