The Spaniard was part of the 4x100 absolute national relay on Saturday at the Diamond League meeting in the French capital, finishing in 5th place and becoming the first Murcia who participates in the IAAF competition
This season added another historic memory this Saturday, the day we attended the first experience of a Murcian athlete in the most prestigious athletic circuit in the world, the IAAF Diamond League.
This was the case at the meeting in Paris, where Sergio López came to be part of the Spanish 4x100 absolute relay.
The aljucereńo of the Nutribán Sociedad Atlético Alcantarilla reached that milestone by starting the test in the first post, to finish signing the 5th position with Pol Retamal, Daniel Rodríguez and Mauro Triana, with a time of 39.44.
Although, the pupil of Juan Carlos Abellán will not only count this Saturday as the only appointment of the weekend, because just a few hours later it will be one of the attractions in the 100m.l.
of the coveted Meeting of Madrid, this Sunday.
