The candidacy of the Popular Party led by Joaquín Buendía has managed to be the winner in these 2019 Municipal Elections, achieving 9,472, with 51.48%, in second place Spanish Socialist Workers Party (PSOE), with 4,676 votes, 25.41% , in third place Citizens with 1,465 votes, a 7.96%, in fourth place we find VOX with 1.065 votes, a 5.79%.

The absolute majority obtained by Joaquín Buendía in Alcantarilla is obtained with 12 councilors of the 21 that make up the Municipal Corporation, getting 4 more councilors than in the previous municipal elections of 2015, PSOE gets 6 councilors, one more than the last legislature, Ciudadanos loses two of the four that had and appears on the scene Vox with a councilor, leaving out parties like Izquierda Unida, Podemos and Alcantarilla in Positivo, which had two the first and one the remaining two.

The Popular Party wins again the municipal by absolute majority after those held in 2011, from the 6,702 votes reached in 2015, with 35.80%, to 9,472 votes and 51.48% in 2019.

The results of the rest of the political formations that participated in these municipal elections has been: We can 794 votes (4.32%), Izquierda Unida-Verdes Alcantarilla.CR 435 votes (2.36%), We are Region 214 votes (1.16) %), Sewer in Positive 90 votes (0.49%), Democratic Center Coalition 62 votes (0.34%) and Libertarian Party 25 votes (0.14%).

From a census of 30,314 voters in Alcantarilla, with non-Spanish voters, with the possibility of voting in the municipal 118 electors and for the European 74, we had a participation of 61.16%, while in the past municipal elections in 2015 was 64.34%.

In Alcantarilla we have had 26 Sections (Electoral Colleges), with 47 polling stations in 20 Premises to vote, with 47 presidents of tables and 94 vowels.

Regarding representatives of the Administration, we have 22 to which we must unite the 15 officials from the areas of the General Secretariat, the Mayor's Office, the Internal Regime and Maintenance.

As well as the 12 Electoral Colleges covered by Agents of the National Police Corps and 8 Electoral Colleges, by Agents of the Local Police in their morning and afternoon shifts.
