The president of the Popular Sewer Party, Joaquín Buendía, has selected 10 men and 10 women to accompany him on the team with which he hopes to win the next municipal elections by a landslide.
The mayor has combined the renovation and the experience, because he maintains the solid base of the current Government Team: Paqui Terol, Juan Antonio Mata, Antonio M. Griñán, Raquel de la Paz and José Antonio L. Olmedo.
But it introduces an extraordinary group of new faces to excite the neighbors, and to respond to the demands of responsibility, plurality and commitment to our city.
The titular team
In the initial eleven highlights the incorporation of Mariola Alegría, entrepreneur, entrepreneur, former president of the Association of Merchants, and closely linked to the social and cultural entities of Sewer.
Two other women will be in the attack along with her: Marina Lorenzo, who does an excellent job as director of Samaniego, one of the largest teaching centers in the Region;
and María Ignacia Domingo, vice president of the Board of Fraternities, who develops her career in the Murcian Health Service as a nurse.
One of the main novelties in the call is Luis Salinas, a true reference in the neighborhood of Campoamor, where he is president of the Brotherhood of the Assumption and director of the parish choir.
This "dream team" with which the Popular Party will win the elections is composed entirely of workers who already excel in their social and professional fields, so they do not get any benefit in their way through politics.
They are the best in their teams, and they go to the call of Joaquín Buendía with the enthusiasm of the players who wear the shirt of the Spanish National Team: to defend their country.
The number 11 is carried by Víctor Manuel Martínez del Baño, Notary Officer.
Next to him, three young people from the New Generations subsidiary: Carmen Mª Fernández, Noelia Martín and Pedro Pellicer.
The most veteran list closes: Mª Ginesa Nicolás, Juan Fernández and Domingo Lorente, who will start as substitutes.
Among young people and legends, a robust block will support the team: Laura Sandoval, former general director of Territorial Planning, Architecture and Housing;
José Luis Bernal, clerk at El Corte Inglés and delegate of Huerto de los Frailes-San Roque neighborhood;
Diego Guzmán, secretary of the Peñas Federation;
Mateo Mateos, board of directors of the Murcian Association of Multiple Sclerosis;
Pilar Martínez, English teacher;
Mercedes Martínez, housewife and administrative);
and Pedro José Blaya (president of the Tejeras festivities commission).
They, and many like them, are the men and women called to star in the reform process that the mayor started four years ago in Alcantarilla.
It is the team that will work on the design of the Sewer of the future, together with the citizens who vote for us, and those who do not.
Because Joaquín Buendía's team is that of all the alcantarilleros.
