Today, the director of the SEF (Employment and Training Service), Severa González and the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, accompanied by the Councilor for Employment, José Antonio López, visited the Sewer headquarters of the Obra Social de los Marist Brothers, where its director, José Tenorio, took the opportunity to let them know about them and report the training work they have with 15 students / workers of the mixed employment and training program on cleanliness in open spaces and industrial facilities developed by this Entity nonprofit.
The 15 students are doing the workshop of Cleaning open spaces and industrial facilities, obtaining the Level 1 certificate, with a subsidy for it of 180,000 euros, of which 122,429 euros are intended for the salary expenses of these students / workers and the rest to face the two modules established for this PMEF - ESAL, having for this occasion as a promoter the Obra Social of the Marist Brothers of Sewer, in their new facilities located in Milagros street of our city.
The program called "Clean Sewer" has a duration of 9 months, began on December 17, 2018 and will end on September 16.
The two programmed modules are cleaning service outdoors (squares, streets, lots, facades, street furniture, roads, waste recycling, etc.) of the most disadvantaged neighborhoods of El Alcantarilla such as El Campico and San José Obrero, taking actions performed with manual means, incorporating mechanical means according to the type of cleaning required (blowers, brush cutters, sweepers, etc.), students performing their internship in the concessionary company of these services in our municipality ACTUA-ACCIONA.
While the second of the modules will provide cleaning service in the industrial estate West in industrial facilities and equipment, students doing their practices through the Association of Employers of the Western Industrial Estate.
The student-workers of this Program have the opportunity to be working for nine months, important as a formula of income for their families, but they will also achieve training to improve their knowledge and be able to access the labor market carrying the Level 1 Certificate, for Accredit the training obtained in these nine months.
On the other hand they have the opportunity to offer, with their provision, efficient and safe services contributing to sustainable development and a better quality of life for the inhabitants of the most disadvantaged neighborhoods of Alcantarilla.
Guaranteeing health and hygiene conditions.
In addition, it will serve to sensitize the population in the field of selective waste collection, improving, if possible, the urban and industrial environmental quality of the Polygon, thus fulfilling the objectives of this Program.
