The candidate of the PSOE to the mayoralty alcantarillera, Francisco Saavedra, regrets that "this situation shows that the Popular Party has not known how to negotiate with the opposition and there are issues in which you have to leave the colors."
The PSOE alerts that the Sewer City Council faces the final stretch of the legislature with the municipal accounts of 2016. The budget was extended "for the third time in the same term," last January, as the socialist candidate recalls to the mayor, Francisco Saavedra, "the Law Regulating the Bases of Local Regime establishes that if the budget was not approved before the first day of the fiscal year in course, the previous one will be automatically extended".
Thus, Saavedra regrets that the PP government team is managing the municipal coffers "with forecasts that have not been forecast for 2019, but 2016, and the budget statements do not fit well with reality."
The Socialist candidate stresses that "Sewer is a city and as such, its City Council can not spend an entire legislature with the same budget of 2016. The PP has spent three years managing the economy of more than 41,000 citizens with accounts extended year after year" .
Saavedra ditch that "this situation shows that the Popular Party government team has not been able to negotiate with the opposition and there are issues in which the political colors have to be set aside and budgets are one of them: you can not manage the municipal coffers based on modifications and credit transfers ".
