The Governing Council approves allocating 1.3 million to repair the RM-E4 highway, known as the Road of the Soldiers
The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, today reaffirmed the "commitment of the regional government to the recovery and conservation of regional heritage, which we must protect and promote as an element of our identity", and proof of this is the recently restored Sewer Ferris Wheel in which recovery "we have allocated 160,000 euros", through a grant to the Board of Landowners of the Huerta de Murcia.
López Miras made the remarks after presiding over Sewer Council meeting and during the visit to this wheel that "has been recovered aesthetically and functionally, as today continues watering the garden of Sewer", and has slowed down its deterioration.
Subsequently, the president visited the works on the road that runs between the center of Alcantarilla and the Murcia hamlet of Puebla de Soto, which will improve the road safety of pedestrians, since it has built a sidewalk that will make pedestrian traffic be continuous and safe on this road through which an average of 2,600 vehicles circulate daily, of which 110 are heavy.
In this action, an investment of 100,000 euros has been made.
The Governing Council approved today to allocate 1.3 million euros to repair the regional highway RM-E4, known as the Soldiers' Road and which connects with the Western Industrial Estate, between the municipalities of Alcantarilla and Murcia.
"This is a very necessary action that will benefit 1,500 companies and 15,000 workers," the president remarked.
