"Despite the lack of capacity for consensus and agreement of the PP Government team, Ciudadanos continues to work and improve the life and services provided to neighbors," says local spokesman, Francisco Álvarez
Citizens has encouraged a modification of local budgets that will improve the items allocated to education, culture and social services.
"Despite the lack of consensus and agreement of the PP Government team, since we have budgets carried over from 2016, Citizens do not give up improving the lives of our neighbors, so we have promoted this budgetary amendment, which also it will also mean that municipal workers recover the social rights they lost during the crisis, "said local orange spokesman Francisco Álvarez.
The modification has allowed the transfer of surplus funds from the payment of the municipal debt and that of the Entrevías car park to other items.
In addition to the amount for officials, there is also an increase in the amount allocated to the Nursery School, "in line with the boost that through regional budgets we have given to education from zero to three years," said Álvarez.
There are also 30,000 euros more for cultural activities and the Museum of La Huerta and 85,000 euros to subsidize sports activities in the municipality.
The amount for social cooperation is increased by 20,000 euros and the amount destined for parties and traditions is increased by 62,500 euros.
Finally, 10,000 euros of the debt service have also been transferred to a subsidy to encourage local commerce, which will be used to increase the agreement with the Merchants' Association.
"Despite the policy of PP patches, Citizens continues to work for projects that give more stability, security and ambition to the challenges that Sewer has," the local spokesman has concluded.
