The Geographic Society of the Region of Murcia has delivered to the mayor of Alcantarilla, through its vice president Joaquín Atenza, the calendar for 2019 prepared with beautiful landscapes of the regional geography, as they have been doing in recent years.
The City of Alcantarilla, maintains since April 2016, a collaboration agreement with the Geographic Society of the Region, in order to disseminate the geographical, historical, social and cultural knowledge of our municipality, as well as the holding of meetings, conferences, projections and excursions in our city.
The images contained in this 2019 calendar are once again a good element to disseminate some of the exceptional corners of our Region and to encourage us all to get to know it better.
They are part of the contest that the Society organizes, with its twelve winners.
This month of January is illustrated by a photograph of the Diego Rosique sewer, with a beautiful image "Atardecer en Calblanque", on the magnificent Mediterranean coast of the municipality of Cartagena.
