Eight centers in Slovenia, Italy, Latvia, Portugal, Romania, Poland, Turkey and Spain, the Samaniego sewer center, are developing the Erasmus program called "What about your blue", on the use of water.
On the morning of today the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, has received in the City Hall the members of the Erasmus project "What about your blue" in which schools from eight countries, Spain, Slovenia, Italy, Latvia, Romania, Poland, Portugal and Turkey, the main objective of the project being the use of water.
The same led by the hosts of our municipality the Secondary Education Center Samaniego.
The Mayor of Alcantarilla welcomed them to our city in the Plenary Hall, accompanied by the Councilor for Education, Juan Manuel Gómez and by the director of the Spanish host center, CES Samaniego, María Concepción Carrillo.
In it were the representatives of the eight centers, an expedition consisting of 45 people, including the 16 visiting professors, 26 students, along with the coordinators of the sewer center.

Joaquín Buendía, highlighted in his speech the main objectives of the exchange, "knowing the eight countries that participate in this ERASMUS project, as well as its educational centers and the cities that will host the exchange, as well as introducing students to life everyday of the different places, while promoting the interaction between students through the different languages ​​(Spanish, English and the other remaining) involved in the project, and teamwork ".
The objective of the project is to make the students be determined people, examining and creating answers for the problems of productive use of water assets, while expanding familiarity with the general population in their circle.
In this project, there are 8 educational centers, with Turkey as coordinator, Romania, Italy, Spain, Latvia, Slovenia, Poland and Portugal.
