A large delegation of the Regional Assembly, led by its president, Rosa Peñalver, has visited the Sewer Air Base, one of the main centers of the Air Force.
In this unit are located the Military School of Parachute "Méndez Parada", cradle of the Spanish military parachute and the Squadron of Parachute Sappers.
Received by the chief colonel of the Alcantarilla Air Base, Francisco Javier Fernández, the deputies and deputies have had the opportunity to know the installations, the missions and the activities they carry out every day at the Sewer Air Base.
The president of the Chamber, Rosa Peñalver, who thanked the Colonel Boss for the welcome and willingness to show his work to the regional deputies, who highlighted "the affection and respect that the Murcian society feels for the Armed Forces, as this institution, the only Skydiving School in Spain, in which more than 1,000 students are trained each year. "
This visit, which arose as a result of a protocol meeting between the president of the Assembly, Rosa Peñalver, and the chief colonel of the Alcantarilla Air Base, Francisco Javier Fernández, serves to reinforce institutional relations, knowledge of the functions developed and its impact on the environment.
The visit was attended by the second vice president, Domingo Segado Martínez, and the first secretary of the Bureau, Luis Francisco Fernández Martínez;
and the spokespersons, Joaquín López Pagán, Parliamentary Socialist Group, and Óscar Urralburu Arza, Parliamentary Group Podemos.
