Next Tuesday, November 20, at 12 o'clock in the morning, the Town Hall of Sewer, through the Department of Education, along with the schools of our municipality, have organized a series of activities to commemorate the 20N, International Day of the Niñ @, with the reading of the 10 principles proclaimed in the Charter of the United Nations, from the balcony of the City Council and as a preamble to the delivery in Oviedo on November 27 of the Seal of Friendly City of Children that UNICEF gives us.
From this morning a banner hanging on one of the balconies of the City Council announces this election and the delivery of said distinction.
At 11:45 am the concentration in the San Pedro plaza of the participating schools will start (Jara Carrillo, Vistabella, Campoamor, Ntra. Sra. De la Asunción, Ntra. Sra. De la Salud, Eusebio Martínez, Sagrado Corazón and Samaniego ).
The children of 5 years, will be arriving with the banners and the banner that reflects the "right or principle" that each one of them will contribute, one per Center.
At 12, the reading of the rights will begin from the balcony of the City Hall until the 10 rights are completed, at the conclusion of the reading, the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, will address those present to thank their participation and highlight the celebration of the International Children's Day and the recognition of UNICEF to Alcantarilla as Child Friendly City., Objective of the event.
Next November 27, the Town Hall of Sewer, will receive along with other Spanish municipalities, among them those of Bullas, Campos del Río, San Pedro del Pinatar, UNICEF Child Friendly City recognitions 2018, will be delivered at the gala that It will be held in the Exhibition and Congress Palace of Oviedo.
528 students from the eleven Sewer colleges will read the preamble and the ten principles proclaimed in the Charter of the United Nations. Freedom, justice and peace in the world are based on the recognition of dignity and equal rights. untouchable of all the members of the human family.
The participating students of the different educational centers are Jara Carrillo, with 75 students, Samaniego 136, Vistabella 24, Campoamor 27, Las Tejeras 26, Ntra. Sra. De la Asunción 30, San José Obrero 20, Eusebio Martínez 8, Sacred Heart 56, Ntra. Sra. De la Salud 27 and Jacinto Benavente 99 students.
