With this title an interesting conference on jihadism was presented to the personnel of the Sewer Air Base, which was also attended by members of the National Police of Murcia, Local Police of Alcantarilla and Torrevieja (Alicante).
The interest raised by the subject exceeded the expectations of the capacity of the room where the conference was given, Mr. José María Gil Garre, was the exceptional speaker for his extensive experience and knowledge on the subject, who exposed for more than three hours the phenomenon of jihadist terrorism, its actors, attack methodologies and the attitude to face hostile scenarios, in the case of being directly involved in one of them.
José M. Gil Garre has been Co-Director of the International Security Observatory and Coordinator of Operations in the Emergency Service of the City of San Javier, journalist of the Illustrious Association of Journalists of Murcia and Diploma in Security Management and in International Studies on Terrorism for the Chair of UNESCO.
In addition to different university specializations, among others, in Intelligence and Security Services and in Islamic Sciences, he has also collaborated with various national communications media in the USA.
and Europe on these matters, author of the report of temporary report 'Our Jihadists' having contacted, interacted in networks and monitored more than a hundred terrorists with links to our country.
His experience has made him worthy of the Commendation of Santiago for the defense of the victims of terrorism and the defense of the work of the Security Forces and Forces, Merit Medal of Civil Protection with Blue badge, for actions in Protection of persons and its assets during the floods that affected the Mar Menor region in 2016 and with the Police Merit Medal with the White badge.
