The Cultural Center "Infanta Elena" Sewer will host today night, October 31, the XII Annual Gala of the Federation of Peasants Festeras and Cultural, with the Oinokoe award, an act that will be chaired by the president of this Federation , Juan Sornichero and the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, who will be accompanied by the Councilor for Culture and Celebrations, María Luisa Martínez León.
In this edition and by unanimous agreement of all the clubs, the Oinokoe prize will go to the Minister of Tourism and Culture, Miriam Guardiola Salmerón, as well as to those of Manuel Fernández-Delgado, director of the Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia, institution to which it has been destined.
The fourth of the gold brooms, an award that was instituted in 2015, with the denomination Escoba de Oro-Normatex (company that sponsors it), will go to Diego Terol López, for 29 years as part of Peña Piscis since 1980 , along with other historical events of our parties and the award-winning companions.
It is linked to the Mayo Festival of Alcantarilla since 1978, as a result of which the then Municipal Commission of Celebrations, founded in 1971, designated as Queen Major his daughter Paqui Terol Cano.

This award is given to the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, for the close and close collaboration maintained in recent years with those responsible for it, from its director, and by the various officials of the same who have made available this regional institution to walk together in order to finalize the file that lead to our Sewer Fest to be declared of National Tourist Interest and for the bet and the invitation they had to participate in the FITUR International Tourism Fair in Madrid, in the last two editions .
As well as for the commitment that the supporters with their Federation of Festeras and Culturales de Alcantarilla have had from the Regional Government, being firm and unconditional from the first day and that as they indicate from the Federation, they have intensified strongly throughout this last year , with samples of constant support in the organized events, assisting them as they were in the past Fiestas, from the president of the Regional government, as the Minister of Tourism and Culture, who together with the director of the Institute had the opportunity to witness our Great Parade of Peñas.
This Oinokoe Prize Gala is not held on the night of October 31 by chance, since this night of Bruges, it is the most important day of the year for the esoteric calendar, when the cosmic forces unite on that date.
That is why it is the ideal time to perform rites of power and intensify the magical capacity that we all carry within.

The annual awards will also be given to those peñistas who fulfill their "silver wedding anniversary", their 25 years as a Peñista, being in this edition Ana María Manzano López, from the Peña "Athena", being currently the president of the same;
Francisco Férez Hernández and Francisco Cremades Hernández, both belonging to the Peña "El Barco".
The annual awards will also be given to the "Distinguished Peñistas" that are proposed by their own clubs, this time 18 festive clubs, the identity of the distinguished are known during the development of the Gala to be named, awards that will be delivered by the Mayor and Children of the Fiestas 2018, Daniela Domingo and Paula Molina.
